CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a PRN opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Willow Tree Healthcare Center in Charles Town, WV. We offer in-house therapy teams, opportunities to work across centers, and a culture of stability and continuity of care.

The role focuses on implementing treatment plans with the Physical Therapist, assisting residents to improve mobility, and supporting a team-focused approach to care.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy Assistant degree from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License.

Responsibilities

• Verifies client information by interviewing client; reviewing and/or recording medical history; confirming purpose of treatment.
• Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations and re-enter the labor force, and teaching individuals to use public transportation to increase mobility and independence.
• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with the Physical Therapist, and educates other team members and family involved in the treatment plan.
• Opportunity to work at multiple centers to serve a wide variety of patient needs.
