Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• May require valid driver’s license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver physical therapy programs to improve mobility, reduce pain and increase independence.
• Conduct examinations, evaluations and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
• Educate clients and family members about treatment plans and home exercises; adjust plans as needed.
• Supervise aides, assistants or students when assigned by department leadership.
• Collaborate with providers, case managers, and other team members to ensure quality outcomes.
