Job summary

Genesis HealthCare—Casa De Oro Center in Las Cruces, NM—seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and deliver personalized PT services. You’ll design recovery programs, promote independence, and collaborate with the Rehab team in a patient-centered environment.

Requirements include a valid PT license in the state, a Master’s in Physical Therapy (or equivalent), and the ability to work PRN. A referral bonus program is available and the team emphasizes growth and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or a Master's in a related field with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy; or a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience.
• If degree earned outside the U.S., it must be evaluated for U.S. equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans; deliver physical therapy.
• Act as a teacher/train patients and caregivers on needed skills for independence.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to other care as needed to help patients thrive.

Education

Master's degree in Physical Therapy

Master's degree in Physical Therapy related field + Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice

Master's or higher degree with evaluation for US equivalence (outside US)

5 years progressively responsible PT experience
