Location: The Sanctuary - Regional Cancer Center - 8931 Colonial Center Drive Fort Myers, FL 33905

Department: Rehabilitation Services-RCC

Work Type: PRN

Shift: Shift 1/ PRN

PRN Pay Rate: $51.14 / hour

Summary

This position is working with the oncology population. Applicants must be lymphedema certified.

The Physical Therapist (PT) position is responsible for examining, evaluating, and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The PT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities by designing, implementing, and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation, and disability, as well as promoting and maintaining fitness, health, and wellness in populations of all ages. The PT is engaged in administration, consultation, education, and research. The PT is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. The attributes, characteristics, or behaviors required for success in this job include critical thinking, communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, responsibility, professionalism, use of constructive feedback, effective use of time and resources, stress management, and commitment to learning.
