Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Wichita is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Wichita, KS. This PRN/As Needed/Per Diem role offers a competitive hourly rate and a chance to provide essential inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients.

The PT will conduct assessments, set goals, develop and modify treatment plans, and supervise PTAs and students. Strong documentation and patient-family education are required.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Develop goals and treatment plans; implement and adjust therapies as needed.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and PT/PTA students.
• Complete documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Contribute to continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
