Job summary

Spero Rehab, part of Intune Physical Therapy, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PRN) to support patients in the Austin and Houston areas. Open to part-time, full-time, and PRN shifts, the role emphasizes movement-based rehabilitation and patient-centered care in outpatient clinics.

You will evaluate conditions, develop plans, provide hands-on therapy, educate families, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to deliver high-quality care in a supportive team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program or eligible
• State license in good standing or eligibility to obtain
• NPTE completion or eligibility to take exam
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred
• Strong manual therapy skills and exercise prescription knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Team-oriented approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy and prescribe exercises to improve mobility
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers for comprehensive care
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and techniques
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture
