Job summary

Essentia Health’s Mid Dakota Bismarck clinic seeks a licensed physical therapist for casual/PRN shifts. You will evaluate, plan, treat, and discharge patients with evidence-based interventions, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include documentation, billing support, scheduling, supervision of support staff, and collaboration with referring physicians to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current license to practice PT in North Dakota.
• Caseload management and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluation, develop treatment plans, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Handle documentation, billing, scheduling, and other administrative duties.
• Communicate professionally and supervise licensed assistants and aides.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize clinical and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Adhere to organizational policies and professional ethics.
• Be flexible to serve in other departments when needed.
• May serve as a clinical instructor and participate in committees.
