Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services in our centers, aligned with occupational medicine philosophy and Concentra policies. You will evaluate patients, plan and implement treatment programs, and collaborate with physicians to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include documentation, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing professional development. A PT degree is required, with a Master’s preferred, and orthopaedic outpatient experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Masters’ Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, preferred
• Ortho-outpatient experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high quality patient care
• Perform direct patient care, including evaluation of muscle, skeletal, neurological and other physical problems
• Support and encourage multidisciplinary coordination of treatment
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care
• Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures and applicable regulations
• Implement effective communication with staff and patients to ensure coordinated care
• Plan, design, implement and interpret physical therapy treatment programs
• Educate patients in proper care and exercises
• Follow documentation and reporting procedures
• Work closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive delivery of services
• Assist with tours as necessary
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings
• Communicate patient progress and discharge timelines
• Participate in clinical instruction and quality management processes
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies
