Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join Mission Hospital on a PRN schedule. You’ll evaluate patients, plan treatment, educate staff and families, and contribute to a collaborative care team in a community-focused hospital setting.

You’ll bring PT credentials, an active license in Texas, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to support recovery and well-being for patients across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current and unrestricted PT license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Instruct nursing staff and patient families on follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team members.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records.
• Maintain equipment and work area in safe condition.
• Adhere to company policies and applicable laws.
