Job description

Enhance Rehabilitation is currently seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will be part of a growing team. In this role, you'll assist in treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
  2. Developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's specific needs, with the assistance of a physical therapist.
  3. Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
  4. Discussing treatment with patients and recording patient conditions and responses to treatments after each visit.
  5. Maintaining continuous communication with Physical Therapists, the Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
  6. Operating and applying knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Required qualifications:

  • Must have relevant licensure or certification.
  • Previous experience in physical therapy preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Additional certifications or specialized training in physical therapy.
