Job summary

PT Solutions, in partnership with Ascension St. Vincent Health System, seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for acute care coverage in Evansville, Indiana.

You will administer and assist with a wide range of physical therapy treatments and build strong relationships with patients to help them exceed functional goals. Qualified candidates have earned a PTA program from an APTA/CAPTE-approved school, state licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapist assistant program.
• State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Administer and assist with a wide range of physical therapy treatments using a variety of methods.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members.

• Evansville Orthopedics: Joint Certified

• Evansville Inpatient: Level II Trauma Center, Joint Certified, Stroke Certified

Our clinic also specializes in advanced rehabilitation techniques and therapies, including:

• Wound Care: Expert care for healing and recovery of chronic and complex wounds.

• Splinting: Customized splints to aid in recovery and improve functional outcomes.

• Early Mobility: Specialized programs designed to promote early movement, improving patient recovery and reducing complications.

*Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
