Responsibilities and Duties

As a Right at Home Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll help clients improve mobility, function, and independence through :

• Therapy Implementation : Carry out physical therapy plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Client Engagement : Assist clients with exercises and mobility training tailored to their condition and goals.
• Progress Monitoring : Observe and report on client progress, and communicate effectively with the supervising PT and care team.
• Education : Educate clients and their families on exercises and home safety practices.
• Collaboration : Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided and client progress.
• Support and Motivation : Provide encouragement and emotional support to clients to help them stay engaged in their recovery.

Requirements :

• Licensure : Current licensure to practice as a PTA in the state of Alabama.
• Experience : 2 years of experience preferred (home health or hospice experience a plus).
• Certification : Must possess and maintain current CPR certification.
• Physical Capability : Ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Driver's License : Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Background Check : Must pass a criminal background check.
