Job summary

Quad City Physical Therapy & Spine in Davenport, IA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our therapists with patient care. Under the supervision of a licensed PT, you will observe patients and guide them through prescribed exercises.

Ideal candidates have a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, Iowa PTA license, CPR certification, and outpatient orthopedic experience; new grads are welcome to apply and receive mentorship and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
• Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Patient observation before, during and after therapy, noting the status and reporting it to the Physical Therapist.
• Assisting the patient with specific exercises as per the plan of care.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists with patient care. Specific job responsibilities will include the following under the supervision of the Physical Therapist:

• Patient observation before, during and after therapy, noting the status and reporting it to the Physical Therapist.
• Assisting the patient with specific exercises as per the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
• Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, CPR certification.
