Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Job Description:

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports the Physical Therapist in implementing resident-specific treatment plans.

Shift:

Full-Time and PRN options available.

PTA Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct treatment to patients according to the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Detect signs of reactions to treatment and report adverse responses immediately.
2. Record all pertinent information regarding the treatment program accurately and timely.
3. Maintain effective time management to meet productivity levels according to the daily schedule.
4. Participate in patient care plan meetings for interdisciplinary collaboration.
5. Communicate patient responses and progress to the supervising physical therapist.
6. Contribute to program development and share best practices with the Rehab Team.
7. Assist patients in achieving outcomes while acting as a trusted community partner.
