Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for day shifts. The PTA is responsible for administering physical therapy interventions under a Physical Therapist plan of care and as ordered by a physician.

The PTA will participate with the Physical Therapist to develop treatment programs for therapy patients. Join our team at AMG in Albuquerque, an ESOP company, and contribute to high‑quality patient care in a long‑term acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant School.
• Maintains a current New Mexico State PTA License
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
• PTA Assistant participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
