Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow specimen handling and processing procedures.
• Troubleshoot instruments and coordinate with central lab when needed.
• Prepare blood or bone marrow slides for evaluation.
• Submit external tests to appropriate facilities per insurance.
• Maintain inventory and place supply orders.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Complete required CEUs annually to meet COLA requirements.
• Assist in training new employees.
