Job summary
Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Missouri is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to join our Laboratory team. You will receive and process specimens, greet patients, and help with clerical tasks while delivering compassionate care.
Qualified candidates have a phlebotomy certification (ASCP and/or NCA preferred), at least six months of phlebotomy experience, and availability for Friday–Sunday nights 6pm–6am, including holidays. Join a dedicated team serving our small-town community.
Qualifications
- Six months phlebotomy experience preferred; phlebotomy experience in hospital laboratory.
- Phlebotomy certification by ASCP and/or NCA highly desired
Responsibilities
- Identify and label specimens accurately.
- Prepare specimens for analysis and testing.
- Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
- Process all paperwork for submitted specimens.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
