Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is seeking an experienced PRN Phlebotomist to support our Denver Division. The role may be based at Denver campuses or in Lonetree, with a salary range of $19.50–$23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, proper documentation, specimen processing, and adherence to regulatory standards. The position requires 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and licensure in phlebotomy is recommended. Benefits are offered subject to eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in phlebotomy or a clinical setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as ordered with proper patient identification.
• Maintain documentation and logs per QA program (accessioning, equipment records, checklists).
• Monitor supplies and ensure viability of materials before use.
• Transport specimens to reference laboratories when needed and process lab orders.
• Prepare and file daily paperwork, lab logs, and maintenance logs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure safe handling of specimens and sharps.
