Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure/certification in phlebotomy recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens as ordered.
• Maintains accessioning logs and equipment records.
• Keeps supplies inventory and viability of materials.
• Sends specimens to reference labs when needed.
• Processes in-house and incoming lab reports.
• Identifies patients and labels specimens correctly.
• Operates designated laboratory equipment as directed.
• Maintains a clean, compliant work environment.
• Adheres to OSHA and universal precautions.
