Job summary

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a friendly Phlebotomist/Processor to support patients and the team in a PRN role. The position involves venipuncture, data management, and sample handling across multiple sites, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and prior phlebotomy experience is preferred but not required. Flexibility to work at different sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.
• Technical: Performing venipuncture for blood collection and obtaining additional specimen types as required.
• Preparing samples for lab testing and screening.
• Verifying specimen information and performing data entry.
• Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
• Flexibility to cover shifts at different sites as needed.
