Phlebotomy certification preferred; graduate of phlebotomy course required; one year of experience preferred; hospital experience preferred. Ability to keyboard six months preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and instruct on collection methods.
• Draw blood using finger, heel, or venipuncture techniques.
• Label specimens and enter data into the computer.
• Prepare samples for microbiology, hematology, serology, blood bank, urinalysis.
• Assist with clerical duties like answering calls.
