Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Phlebotomist for the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex in Pikeville, TN. You will draw blood, check vital signs, perform finger-stick glucose tests, and assist with daily living activities in a secure correctional healthcare setting.

Required: high school diploma or GED, current Phlebotomist certification, CPR, and preferred CMA/CNA credentials. Corrections experience is a plus, and the role may require a security clearance and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Current Phlebotomist certification with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist required.
• CMA or CNA certification/license preferred.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood for patients in a correctional healthcare setting.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a per diem Phlebotomist to join our team at the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex located in Pikeville, Tennessee. The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment. Pay is $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current Phlebotomist certification with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
