A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Phlebotomist I to perform laboratory procedures under supervision. The role requires patient interaction, specimen collection, and processing, with a focus on providing excellent care and maintaining professionalism. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and preferably have phlebotomy certification.
Position Highlights:
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director, Manager or Supervisor, the Phlebotomist I performs Laboratory procedures in Phlebotomy and other Specimen Collections, Specimen Processing and/or any other General duties, as necessary, under the direction of a licensed laboratory supervisor. The Phlebotomist I presents a professional, courteous and respectful demeanor when engaging with patients, co-workers, other staff and general public.
Depending on Practice Site Requirements, not all duties listed may be performed. However, it is expected MOST duties will be performed. Travel to other sites may be required.
Education
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
