• Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary

The Infusion Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in preparing, compounding, dispensing, and delivering sterile medications for infusion patients in compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. This role assists with inventory management, medication preparation, quality assurance, documentation, and service coordination to ensure safe and timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Medication Preparation & Compounding

• Prepare sterile compounded medications, including IV therapies, admixtures, and specialty infusion medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain compliance with USP , USP , and all applicable regulatory standards.
• Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment and compounding supplies.
• Perform aseptic technique procedures and ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications.

Work Schedule & Locations

This position rotates between the Cherry Hill Infusion Pharmacy and the Sewell Infusion Pharmacy.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: Variable day shifts
• Saturday (Cherry Hill only): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekend rotation: Every 6th Saturday

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician certification (Required)
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 0-1 years Six months of prior Pharmacy experience in a retail/outpatient pharmacy or payer environment preferred
