HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, prepare and dispense medications, and maintain records. You will assist pharmacists, handle labeling, and ensure accurate documentation in a team-focused hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of technician experience, FL registration, and strong customer service and clerical skills. Benefits and a comprehensive rewards package are offered to eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Current FL Registered Pharmacy Tech or Florida licensed intern.
• Pharmacy knowledge: medical terminology and drug names.
• Customer service, interpersonal, organizational, PC, analytical and clerical skills.

Responsabilités

• Count, package, and label unit doses for pharmacist inspection.
• Assist pharmacists with filling orders and preparing labels.
• Perform quality control and auditing of medications for availability.
• Prepare IV mixtures and operate automated systems.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and perform clerical duties.
• Contribute to hospital improvement and service excellence goals.
• Follow guidelines for reporting medical errors or adverse outcomes.
