Job description

PRN Pharmacy Technician - Dispensing (LTC)

Join our team as a PRN Pharmacy Technician - Dispensing (LTC) at Forum Extended Care Services Pharmacy.

Position Details

Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Compensation: Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

Role Responsibilities
  • Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications and non-sterile compounds.
  • Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment related to job duties.
  • Comply with all regulations, standards, policies, and protocols.
  • Manage inventory and supplies at work stations.
  • Assist in resolving facility/patient issues under emergency conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs to meet standards.
Qualifications
  • Current unencumbered license as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification not required for Illinois licensed before 2008).
  • Experience in long-term care or hospital pharmacy preferred.
  • Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to maintain casual status based on departmental needs.
