Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem (PRN) to work at clinic-based pharmacies in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The technician will support pharmacists, float among 3 Pittsburgh-area pharmacies, and ensure safe, efficient medication preparation and patient care.

This role requires PA Pharmacy Technician registration, PTCB certification or plan to obtain within 6 months, and at least 2 years of retail experience.

Qualifications

• Requires active PA Pharmacy Technician registration and PTCB certification.
• Must be able to float between 3 clinic pharmacies.
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Strong customer service skills essential.
• Proficient with pharmacy software and hardware.
• Good communication, written and verbal.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a per diem role.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing effective, safe pharmacy services.
• Provide friendly and cooperative patient service.
• Enter patient data accurately.
• Verify NDC numbers and pull counts.
• Maintain accurate patient records and inventory.
• Support in quality improvement programs.
• Coordinate drug orders to other locations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
