Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and active NH license required or eligible.
• Experience in pharmacy operations and patient counseling preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as alternate store leader in pharmacist-in-charge's absence.
• Contact physicians regarding prescription questions.
• Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness.
• Maintain patient medication records and inventory.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and provide drug information.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Attend programs, committees, and staff meetings as required.
• Engage in educational programs and onboarding activities.
• Promote safe practices and teamwork; maintain regular attendance.
