Job summary

Utah Partners for Health in West Jordan, UT is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support our clinic pharmacy team. You will help fill schedules and ensure uninterrupted continuity of care for patients, even during illnesses or vacations.

You will collaborate across the integrated system, advising on drug interactions, accuracy of prescriptions, and patient safety while upholding HIPAA regulations and providing compassionate, compliant pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Valid Utah pharmacist license in good standing with DOPL.
• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a pharmacy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff.
• Assist the PIC with hiring decisions, training, and directing work.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions and dosing guidance.
• Maintain records, inventories and controlled substance logs.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient counseling and health promotion activities.
