Mims Management Group is seeking a PRN Pharmacist for its Clanton, AL location (Janus RX closed door pharmacy). The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with no nights, weekends, or on-call shifts, and is closed on major holidays.

The PRN Pharmacist reports to the PIC and supports a range of pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, supervising staff in the absence of the PIC, ensuring patient safety, maintaining records, and adhering to HIPAA and all

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy; PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Current and valid registration and licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Moderate computer knowledge.
• Proficiency in pharmacy computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, labels, and dispenses medications for all ages as ordered.
• Performs computer order-entry functions accurately and timely.
• Supervises and verifies drug distribution by staff.
• Interacts with patients to provide general drug information and education as needed.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and standards to promote patient safety.
