Location: 101 Truman Medical Center, UH Lakewood Medical Center, University Health Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri

Department: Pharmacy Inpatient UHTMC

Position Type: Part time

Work Schedule: 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Hours Per Week: 4

Job Description

Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies based on written prescriptions. Supervise and direct junior staff. Work independently with occasional guidance from the Director of Pharmacy.

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Current state licensure
  • Willingness to accept responsibilities of PIC in Truman Medical Center retail pharmacy as required
  • Good verbal communication skills for instructing patients, staff training, and interprofessional communication
  • Good written communication skills for reporting
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
