Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our on-site pharmacy team in Jackson, TN. You will process prescriptions, provide medication information, and deliver high-quality customer service in a community-based setting.

As a temporary, intermittent role, you will work with state-licensed pharmacists, performing immunization administration where allowed and adhering to applicable laws.

• Requires pharmacist degree and Tennessee license.

We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

Pharmacy location: Located within Quinco Mental Health Center - 45 Executive Dr, Ste P, Jackson, TN 38305

Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday: 8AM-4:30PM; Closed for Lunch Daily: 12:30PM-1PM

Primary Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacyor PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Tennessee

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 - $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
