Maintain and operate all aspects of the Pharmacy Department in the absence of the Pharmacist-in-Charge. This includes following state and federal laws, hospital policies, and use of good common sense when dispensing medicine and devices for use on patients.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy
• Licensed by the State of Louisiana.
• Computer knowledge.
• Basic typing skills.
• Ability to tolerate a great number of phone interruptions throughout the workday.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Possesses positive customer service skills.

Working Conditions

• Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 25% of the day.
• Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.
• Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.
• Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 10% of the day.
• Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
