Job summary

Clinical Solutions Pharmacy in Franklin, TN is seeking a Pharmacist to join our closed-door team. We ship 70,000 prescriptions daily to over 750 facilities nationwide and value accuracy and patient safety.

The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of pharmacist experience, a valid license, and strong leadership and communication skills; we offer competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, life insurance, Teladoc, and more.

Pay: Clinical Solutions Pharmacy offers competitive compensation
  • Flexible, as-needed schedule based on pharmacy staffing needs, PTO coverage, call-offs, and volume fluctuations.
  • Shift coverage can range from Sunday - Saturday, 6:00am - 8:00pm
  • Shifts are offered in advance whenever possible and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs.
  • No guaranteed hours; PRN pharmacists choose which available shifts they are able to work.
  • Opportunities to pick up additional shifts and provide coverage across pharmacy operations in a fast-paced closed-door pharmacy environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • License to practice pharmacy is required in the state of the position. Must also be willing to obtain licensure for multiple states, as needed
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
  • 1-2 years of Pharmacist experience is required
  • Pharmacist License in good standing and have not been on probation in the past
  • Ability to think critically and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity
  • Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors
  • Understands, promotes, and complies with rules and regulations governing residents' rights
  • Keeps abreast of current state, federal and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Adhere to regulatory and company compliance, including OSHA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Clinical Solutions Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Policies and Procedures
  • Advise pharmacy staff on changes to any known regulatory changes/updates
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Person needs to have strong oral and written skills
  • Must possess strong leadership abilities to coordinate multiple associates and provide direction to accomplish job functions
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point or other Windows based software programs
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
  • Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Duties include:
  • Assists in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Supervisor
  • Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention, and superior quality of business office employees
  • Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
  • Verify all prepared DURs are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner
  • Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to shipping
  • Communicates well and maintains positive client relationships and answers any pharmacist related calls and/or questions
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned by Pharmacy Supervisor

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, walk and stand. Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Occasional physical effort with light to medium objects. Occasionally required to lift objects 10-25 pounds
  • Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties
