WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients in a collaborative rehabilitation setting. You will develop and implement therapy plans for communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic needs within an interdisciplinary team, documenting progress in the hospital EMR.
The role requires current licensure in the service state and ASHA CCC (or eligibility within 48 months of hire).
Evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language-swallowing therapy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
MD: Speech Language Pathologist License OR Limited Speech Language Pathologist License through Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists
OH: Speech Pathologists License OR Temporary Speech Language Pathologist License through Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board
P** A:**Speech Language Pathologist License through Pennsylvania Board of Examiners in Speech Language and Hearing
WV: Licensed Speech Language Pathologist License OR Provisional Speech Language Pathologist License through the West Virginia Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology OR must be obtained within 48 months of hire.
Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
