Zarminali Pediatrics in Dunwoody, GA seeks a PRN Cross-Trained Medical Assistant (MA) to support both clinical and front-office functions. The role offers flexible hours based on patient volumes and staffing needs, with opportunities to float between front desk and clinical care as daily needs dictate.

You will greet and assist patients, take vitals, assist with vaccines, and help providers while maintaining a smooth patient flow and compliant documentation. A team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CMA credential.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year experience in a Medical Assistant or patient-facing healthcare role.
• Experience navigating EMR and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and a collaborative, team-first approach.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, inclusive, and family-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for appointments with warmth and professionalism.
• Complete patient intake, obtain vital signs, and conduct assessments within defined scope.
• Perform point-of-care testing and assist with vaccines safely.
• Assist physicians with patient care and procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and infection control standards.
• Support medication refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and recalls.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Welcome patients at front desk, verify demographics, and schedule appointments.
• Manage check-out and coordinate follow-up care.
• Provide cross-trained support between front-office and clinical duties.
