Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee
• Bachelor's degree preferred (BSN)
• BCLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes in status
• Perform procedures or functions ordered by the medical provider
• Document administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain current knowledge of medications, procedures and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
