Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN collaborates with medical providers for pre-operative and post-operative care, acting as an advocate to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

You will assess patients at admission and each shift, document care, administer medications, and stay current with cardiac and medical-surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• RN licensed required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• BCLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• NIHSS Stroke Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by provider
• Document care in patient records in a timely manner
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
