Job summary

McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team in the Same Day Surgery/PACU Recovery Room. PRN with 8/10/12-hour shifts, weekday schedule, and occasional on-call.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, timely documentation, and collaboration with RNs. Must maintain CNA certification and BLS; prior CNA experience preferred. Position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Utah
• BLS for healthcare providers
• Written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, and comfort
• Document and report patient care data promptly to the RN
• Monitor patient condition and seek qualified help as needed
• May perform telemetry duties when required
• Coordinate with the patient care team to ensure quality care
