Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU in a PRN capacity. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a same-day surgery setting, following physician orders and center policies.

You will monitor medication administration and patient responses while ensuring accurate charging for supplies. Qualified candidates hold an RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with preferred 2 years PACU ASC experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• 2 years PACU ASC experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to post-anesthesia patients in a same-day surgery setting.
• Assume responsibility for patient care per physician orders and center policies.
• Monitor and manage supplies and charging for used supplies.
