Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville PACU in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our post-anesthesia care unit. This PRN, part-time role involves 48 hours every 6 weeks with some on-call requirements and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering immediate post-operative care in phase I recovery and supporting patients through discharge, while collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS required.
• Previous Critical Care, Emergency Department or PACU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the care continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
