Job summary

Sequoia Care in Florida is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists for a PRN, part-time on-site role. You will assess and treat residents with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders in senior living settings.

Join a growing team and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to improve residents’ communication and quality of life. Florida licensure and CCC-SLP are preferred; CPR may be required by the state or facility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in the state of Florida (required).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification (as required by facility or state).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech-language therapy plans.
• Deliver direct treatment in senior living setting.
• Address speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing needs.
• Educate and train residents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Document resident progress and revise treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
