Job summary

Community Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse Outpatient in Oklahoma City to join the Northwest Surgical Hospital team. The RN will provide direct nursing care under general supervision, collaborate with the health care team, and support anesthesia and surgical staff in patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma.
• Minimum of one year experience in acute care preferred.
• BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 120 days of hire.
• PALS required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to surgical patients in the pre/post operative area according to policy and procedure and care standards.
• Coordinates patient care with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes during surgery and anticipated complications.
• Acts to protect and advance patient’s best interest.
• Demonstrates competency in performing the duties outlined in this job description.
