Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Texas RN licensure required; must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days.
• BLS certification required (Instructor preferred).
• Magnet ANCC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments, exams and treatment, and maintain medical records.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care plans with patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team; participate in or lead unit initiatives.
• May serve as charge nurse or preceptor and contribute to service line or hospital-wide initiatives.
