Highland Care Center is currently searching for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient team!

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
  • Help Residents to improve their mobility.
  • Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
  • Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
  • Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Physical Therapy Assistant Requirements

  • Must hold current and active PTA license or registration in state employed.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
  • Completion of orientation required by company policy.
  • Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
  • Become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
  • Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.

Benefits available for 30+ hours a work week.
