Job summary

Benedictine is seeking an Occupational Therapist responsible for residents’ evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of therapy interventions in our care setting.

You will develop and revise the care plan with functional goals, coordinate discharge needs, and educate the health-care team, residents, families, and caregivers about the care plan.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Job description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible and accountable for residents’ evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions.

Develops and revises plan of care based on the residents’ needs and establishes functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plan. Plans for residents’ discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents’ needs. Educates other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents.
