Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Dayton is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide skilled OT services at Sanctuary at Wilmington Place, a long-term care setting. The role focuses on helping residents regain independence in activities of daily living.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team and have access to ongoing education, growth opportunities, and a supportive culture that values collaboration and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on daily activities and adaptive strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and help access community resources and accommodations.
