Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Op and Post-Op care on a PRN basis at Southgate Surgery Center. You will assess, plan, implement and document nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting, ensuring patient safety and compliance with policies and accreditation standards.

Qualified candidates will have a graduate nursing program, an active Michigan RN license and BLS certification; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in surgical/ASC/Pre/Post-Op settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care.
• Supervise and direct patient care in an Operating Room setting.
• Comply with HIPAA and patient rights; follow physician orders.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in ongoing education.
