Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology team in Illinois. The role involves simulation and administration of radiation therapy using CT simulation and linear accelerator equipment, following oncologist-prescribed treatment plans, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications include an Associates in Radiation Therapy (or equivalent) with ARRT and IEMA requirements, BLS within 30

Qualifications

• Associates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
• Associates Degree required for those graduating from Radiation Therapy program after 12/31/14.
• One year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and administer radiation therapy treatments using CT simulation and linear accelerator equipment.
• Follow treatment plans prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a collaborative oncology team.
