Job Description

Schedule: Sunday - Friday (6:30am - 5pm) + Holiday availability

Job Summary: The Concierge handles administrative duties, greets visitors, answers phones, relays messages, and often is the first contact with the community. Providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive image through dress and behavior are essential.

Essential Job Duties (including % of time):

  • Arrive on time and prepared for your shift – 100%
  • Maintain a neat appearance and keep the front areas clean – 20%
  • Warmly greet all visitors and offer assistance – 30%
  • Answer phones professionally within 3 rings – 20%
  • Transfer calls and take messages – 20%
  • Monitor visitors, sign in/out, report suspicious activity – 20%
  • Sort and distribute mail – 5%
  • Report resident requests – 5%
  • Maintain the community's lost and found – 5%
  • Order and replenish supplies – 5%
  • Follow safety standards when operating equipment – 100%
  • Support administrative functions – 100%
  • Track meal attendance and alert staff – 20%
  • Display a positive, professional image – 100%
  • Encourage teamwork – 100%
  • Perform other duties as assigned – 20%

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Age over 18
  • Background clearance
  • Negative TB test
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to operate computers and office equipment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Demands:

  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Move throughout the community
  • Push residents in wheelchairs safely

Pay: $17 - $19/hr
